For legal reasons, only companies with a legal entity in Turkey are allowed to submit a registration; however, non-TR companies may submit registration by appointing a TR-based KKDIK Only Representative to register on their behalf, in which case their importers will be regarded as downstream users and do not need to do registrations.

A KKDİK “Only Representative” is a natural person or legal entity established physically in TURKEY.

After OR is appointed by non-TR supplier, importers in Turkey are regarded as downstream users for KKDİK and exempted from registration.

Only Certified Chemical Assessment Specialists (Kimyasal Değerlendirme Uzmanı) can make the registration and the notification in Turkey.

A Certified Chemical Assessment Specialist is needed to compile the dossier and to prepare the Chemical Safety Assessment Report.
